The first persons who triggered my passion for food and drinks were my two Grandmothers. Because they always find ways and culinary techniques to gather the family around delicious tasting moments. Growing up as an adult my Father introduced me to wine culture and I still remember his favorite Controlled. Designation. of Origins of Côtes de Bordeaux : Côtes de bourg, Côtes de Blaye and Castillon, which he really enjoyed during our family dinners in the evening. But these are not the first wine C.D.O I tried. It was a Gewurztraminer from Alsace Kaefferkopf Grand Cru and I will never forget this sweet and exotic fruits taste as a fond tasting. Growing further up it was my Uncle who became a wine mentor for me. He was passionate about Burgundy wines. As he cas carrying me at the wineries to taste and buy some wine, I quickly turned passionate too.
As far as cooking is a hobby too, I have always been curious about foreign countries food willing to taste it at any occasion. I have been cooking for around 20 years but it is during the last six years that I became pretty skilled at it. I bought a world recipes encyclopedia, tried almost all the recipes in it, and have paired each of these with various French wines. For the wine pairing part, my skills come from my diploma of Master of Science in international wine trade and five years within the industry. I hope the combiantion of all these experiences will provide you a nice foodie tasting experiment.
